Police are searching for the person or people responsible for a shooting inside a Brownsville playground during Old Timers Day in July.

The shooting left one person dead and 11 others hurt, leaving the Brownsville community shaken up.

Overnight police released a video of two women who they are calling “persons of interest” they want to speak with about what happened that night.

Police say there were thousands of people out celebrating the annual Old-Timers Day event. The police commissioner says more than 100 officers were there as well.
News 12 is told police are looking into the possibility that the incident was the result of a gang fight. One gun was recovered at the scene, but police said at the time that they believed two weapons may have been used.

A total of 12 people were shot, including 38-year-old Jason Pagan, who was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t survive.

It has been more than two months since the shooting happened and the families, victims and the community are still without answers.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
