New Jersey Houlihan's closes abruptly due to ongoing dispute with landlord

The Houlihan's in Weehawken closed down abruptly this week due to an ongoing dispute with its landlord.
The closure of the restaurant at 1200 Harbor Blvd. Tuesday was announced on Twitter.
The restaurant says the closure is because of a dispute with the landlord, Hartz Mountain Industries, about the liquor license.
Customers found out about the closure via Twitter and a sign posted on the door, saying, “We made the difficult decision to close our Weehawken restaurant effective October 8th. We would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the community and our loyal guests for their support and patronage over the years."
Employees were notified they no longer had jobs the morning of the closure.
