Memorial held in honor man who was gunned down in Flatbush deli

Posted: Updated:

A memorial was held for the man who was fatally shot in a Flatbush deli late Thursday night.

Dozens of loved ones dropped off balloons, candles and flowers outside of his apartment. His apartment was right down the block from where he was killed on Flatbush and Parkside Avenues.

Many of them stuck around Friday night to share stories and remember someone they say was universally loved.

Dwayne Smith was known to the community as Stacks.
