Two men are facing a slew of charges for allegedly attacking two police officers in Bed-Stuy on Tuesday.

Officers approached Bryan Williams, 29, after they say he was allegedly drinking alcohol from an open container near Vernon Avenue. They say Williams fled when they asked for identification.

A chased ensued on foot, and that's when police say another man allegedly punched both officers. That man was identified at 37-year-old Darnell Brown.

Both men have been arrested. They are charged with assaulting a police officer and obstructing governmental administration, among other charges.
