A man has been found guilty of killing his ex-girlfriend - a rookie correction officer - back in 2016.
Keon Richmond, 35, was found guilty of shooting 25-year-old Alastasia Bryan in Canarsie near Avenue L and East 73rd Street while she sat in her car before going to work.
Closing arguments wrapped up on Sunday. Prosecutors say the evidence proved Richmond was the gunman.
Richmond was found guilty of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He faces up to 40 years to life in prison when sentenced in December.
