Good news for homeowners on Long Island as the median price of homes across Nassau and Suffolk counties is up.
The median price of a home in Nassau and Suffolk has risen more than 7.5% in the past year.
The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island says the price has gone up approximately $35,000 since last September.
The increase is said to be driven by a shortage of homes on the market.
