Police: Woman hit by car, thrown into the air in Bushwick

Police say a pedestrian was hit by a car in Bushwick Saturday morning, sending her flying into the air.

It happened at Kossuth Place and Bushwick Avenue around 12:15 a.m.

Police say the woman was crossing the street when a light-colored car hit her, throwing her into the air. She landed underneath a parked car.

They say the woman was brought to the hospital and is in stable condition.

It's not clear if police are searching for the driver at this time.
