BK Lobster serves up lobster dishes inspired by Brooklyn.
Owner Rodney Bonds grew up in Brownsville and says the food he serves at his restaurant reflects his love for his hometown. With items on the menu named after neighborhoods around the borough, like the Bed-Stuy roll created with the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. in mind.

"People having fun, coming up in here asking for a Bed-Stuy roll, 'Baby, Baby!' quoting Biggie. Flatbush roll, you think of strong Caribbean culture," says Bonds.

Besides lobster rolls, the restaurant also features items like lobster mac-and-cheese.

“We wanted to step outside the box, you normally have the Connecticut roll, the classic, but we said why don't we add some more flavor again give us an edge and really hone in the culture of Brooklyn,” says Bonds.
