A video shows the very moment a van crashed into an MTA bus in Bensonhurst Thursday.

The collision happened at around 9:30 a.m. on Bay Parkway at the intersection of 74th Street.

In the video, the bus driver is seen stopped at a red light. Shortly after, the driver of a Verizon van smashes directly into the stopped bus.

Sources tell News 12 that the driver of the van is in serious condition after the collision. They say the bus driver was taken to the hospital for neck and back pain.

Witnesses say the driver of the van was screaming for help. News 12 is told no passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.

News 12 is told the driver in the Verizon van had to be cut out of the vehicle by firefighters. The driver was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

A man who lives in a building near where the collision happened says he rushed outside when he heard it. "I would have to say it sounded like an earthquake a big earthquake. The guy was like, 'help help get me out' and then the fire department came and got him out," said the man.

The collision remains under investigation.
