Five Israeli women treated guests at a Ditmas Park synagogue to a night of various foods and dancing Sunday evening.
The Women Cook social initiative took place at Temple B’Shert on Marlborough Road.
The five women - each born in a different part of the world - treated guests to a variety of kosher dishes from their country of origin.
One of the main goals of the event was to connect with communities and preserve the cultures of the women.
The women will be making stops in other parts of New York and New Jersey before moving on to share their love of culture and cuisine with other parts of the country.
