Activists marched for justice Monday evening in response to a viral subway altercation with police that happened nearly two weeks ago
Those involved marched from the Jay Street Metro-Tech station, the site of the fight, to the 84th Precinct, where some of the officers involved are based.
Police say five teens were arrested on Oct. 25. Activists say one of those teens, Benjamin Marshall, was not part of the initial melee and didn't deserve to be arrested or punched in the face.
With the announcement of new leadership atop the NYPD Monday, some say it's a new opportunity for the department to do what they think is the right thing -- fire the officer.
"We deserve what is right. And that is justice for every little boy and little girl, and especially right now for my son Benjamin Marshall," says Marshall's mother Victoria Noel.
Police said last week that the officer has since been moved to non-enforcement duty.
