2 injured in early morning East New York fire deemed possibly suspicious
Fire crews responded to an early morning fire in East New York.
It happened between Loring and Autumn avenues around 4:48 a.m. inside a building at the Pink Houses.
Over 50 firefighters responded to the scene. They were able to get the fire under control fairly quickly. Officials say the flames erupted from the top floor of an eight-story building.
It’s also being reported that the fire might be suspicious. Investigators say they’re looking into it. 
News 12 is told two people were treated for minor injuries.
A tenant told police she saw someone running and second later getting into a taxi. Some tenants say they believe the fire is suspicious.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
