Park Slope artist claims responsibility for Trump effigy in Gowanus Canal

A Park Slope artist has taken responsibility for an effigy of President Donald Trump that can be found in the Gowanus Canal.
Using a mannequin and padding, Park Slope artist Phil Gable tried to replicate the 45th president. It was partly for comedic relief and to make his own statement.
The story was first reported in the Brooklyn Paper. He spoke with News 12’s Katie Vasquez on Thursday.
