A stigmatist from Syria visited the Church of the Virgin Mary in Park Slope to share her experiences in hopes of spreading a message of unity.
Dozens of people came out to hear from Myrna Nazzour, who says she was chosen by Jesus and the Virgin Mary to be preach to the world.
A stigmatist is someone who can feel the pain that Jesus endured when he was crucified, and receives bodily wounds similar to the wounds Jesus got on his hands, wrists and feet.
Myrna says she has received the wounds of Christ five times over a four-year period. She says she plans to continue sharing her experiences with the world.
