CANARSIE -

An investigation is underway in Canarsie after police say a teen was raped.

The 13-year-old victim says she was walking to a friend’s house on Nov. 1 around 11:30 p.m. when she met the man she says raped her.

Authorities have released a video of the man they'd like to talk to.

Police say the teen met with a man on her way to a friend’s house and started talking to him. The two allegedly walked to a home near the area of East 102nd Street and Avenue M. That's where police say the man sexually assaulted the girl. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated then released.

The man police are looking for is described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build, long dreadlocks and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red bubble jacket.
