Bandits steal $12,000 worth of merchandise from Sheepshead Bay store

Authorities are asking for help in identifying suspects wanted for questioning in connection to a store robbery in Sheepshead Bay.

News 12 is told the robbery happened Oct. 20 at a clothing store on Coney Island and Oceanview Avenue. Surveillance videos show the suspects taking jackets off the hangers in the store.

Police say the suspects struck two store employees before they took off. They say the suspects also pushed one of the employees to the ground.

No one was hurt, but they did flee with 12 jackets with a total value of $12,000, according to authorities.
