Red Hook family desperately searches for missing relative with autism

A Red Hook family is on a desperate search for a relative who's been missing for nearly a week.
Cornell Holmes, 30, was last seen at his home at 626 Clinton St. Holmes lives with his sister, and News 12 is told he has autism.
News 12 is told Holmes left his home after a dispute with a family member back on Nov. 14.
His family says they are afraid he went for a walk to blow off some steam and walked so far he didn't know how to get back. His niece Shaniqua said he doesn't normally leave the house or travel by himself.
She says she fears he knows that routine, but not much outside of it. She also said he's never gone missing before and that his family just wants him to come home safely.
Holmes' family said they've put up flyers in both Brooklyn and the Bronx, as well as social media. The family was told this week that Holmes was seen at Coney Island Hospital but they haven't been able to get any further information.
