EAST FLATBUSH -

A 1-year-old boy was found dead inside his home on Winthrop Street Tuesday.

Aidenn Joyette’s mother told investigators everything was status quo when she went to bed Monday night, but woke up the next morning to find her 1-year-old son not breathing.

Joyette’s death is now being ruled a homicide. News 12 is told the baby died from internal injuries.

Police say he lived with his mother and that two other children were in the home at 560 Winthrop St. when Joyette was discovered.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

The family told News 12 off camera that it has been incredibly difficult for them and that they are trying to raise money to give the 1-year-old a proper memorial.
