15-year-old slashed outside Downtown Brooklyn high school

A teenager was slashed just steps away from a school in Downtown Brooklyn Monday.

Police sources tell News 12 a 15-year-old boy was slashed outside of a school on Tech Place.

First responders rushed to 3 MetroTech Center around 8:45 a.m. where they found the 15-year-old with a slash wound to his neck and arm.

Detectives say it happened after the teen got into an argument with another person, but it is unclear what that argument was about or if the victim knew the suspect.

News 12 is told EMS rushed the teen to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
