2 firefighters injured as flames erupt inside restaurant on Eastern Parkway

A fire erupted at a restaurant on Eastern Parkway early Wednesday morning.

A fire erupted at a restaurant in Crown Heights early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews say the fire started in Fisherman's Cove at 1122 Eastern Parkway around 4:30 a.m. before spreading to the neighboring jewelry store and dentist's office.
News 12 is told two firefighters was taken to the hospital in serious condition with injuries that are not life-threatening.
About 60 firefighters responded to the fire.
The family who owns the jewelry store tells News 12 they are heartbroken as they have been in business for more than 30 years.
The cause is under investigation.
