Power was knocked out for hundreds across the borough during Monday's storm.
Con Edison says it restored power for nearly all of those affected by Tuesday afternoon. They say many of the outages across Brooklyn were due to manhole fires.
Several people on Crown Street woke up in the dark Tuesday morning after a manhole caught fire. Not only did the manhole catch fire, but also a car that was parked nearby along Dean Street.
The manhole fire started near Utica Avenue and lasted for about two hours.
A few blocks away, more customers lost power because of another manhole issue. Between those incidents and other power issues, Con Edison reported 300 customers were without power in Crown Heights.
