Posted: Updated:

Police say two Israeli tourists were robbed at the Avenue I subway station early Saturday morning.

Surveillance cameras show two attackers coming up behind women leaving the station along the F line around midnight.

The video shows that the attack went on for more than 5 minutes on the stairs at the station.

Authorities say the suspects allegedly had a knife and a Taser.

They also say the suspects were able to get the victims’ iPhones and bags, which had cash and cards in them.

Officers say the suspects are between 16 and 19 years old. One is female and the other is male.

The female is described as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall and about 140 pounds. The man is said to be about 6 feet tall and also about 140 pounds.

The women who were attacked are in their early 20s, and were taken to Maimonides Medical Center for cuts and bruises.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
