Students from several schools and organization across the borough are going head-to-head to see whose robot performs best.
KIPP NYC is holding its second annual robotics competition Saturday. Students build their own robots and compete against each other to complete missions.
Staff say robotics help students learn problem solving skills and prepare for careers in STEM.
Saturday’s competition is a scrimmage and the goal is that students will be able to compete in next year’s citywide competition in hopes of moving on to the world championship.
