Police: 2 teens injured in shooting on Neptune Avenue

Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a shooting in Coney Island Monday night.

It happened on Neptune Avenue near the corner of West 31st Street just before 10 p.m.

The victims told police they heard gun shots and felt pain. News 12 is told both victims are 16-year-old males.

One victim was treated at the hospital for a graze wound to the face and the other was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. Both teens are expected to be OK.

Police tell News 12 they are still searching for two suspects who they believe are young men.

They believe one was wearing a red jacket and both were last seen running southbound on West 31st Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
