NYC may see wintry mix, wet snow overnight into Wednesday
A storm is expected to bring some wintry weather to the city through early Wednesday.
Rain developing during the evening hours will change to a wintry mix and wet snow overnight. The snow could be briefly heavy before the storm quickly pulls away Wednesday morning.
At this time, the city can expect to see minor snow accumulations of up to 1 inch, but any deviation in the storm's track or amount of moisture will affect accumulation totals.
The precipitation tapers off early Wednesday, and the rest of the day will see clearing skies with windy conditions and colder temperatures in the upper-30s to near 40. A few flurries or passing snow showers are possible.
