Police: Man robbed of $50,000 in Morrisania

Police say a man was robbed of $50,000 in his apartment building in Morrisania on Jan. 15.

They say two men pushed a man into his apartment near Boston Road and East 168th Street as he opened the door.

Police say once inside, the suspects tied the victim's hands with duct tape and one of them pulled out a gun.

They say the two men took off with two safes that had $50,000 inside.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
