An 85-year-old was fatally stabbed Thursday night in East Flatbush, according to police.
Police say Nicole Waiters, 48 of the Bronx, was taken into custody at the scene at 501 Lefferts Ave. around 10 p.m.
News 12 is told it appears their relationship may have been sexual in nature and arranged.
When officers arrived at 10 p.m. Thursday, they say they found Edill Gonzales with multiple stab wounds all over his body. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigators say Waiters was in the apartment and told them there was an argument over payment for sex.
Crime scene investigators were seen carrying out large bags of evidence from the third floor apartment where he lived. Police say they found two knives, including one that was covered in blood, drug paraphernalia, condoms and alcohol.
"He was a good man. He was not a perfect guy, he was no perfect person, but he had no right to be killed like that," says Curtis Gonzales, Edill's son.
Police say Waiters has an extensive arrest history, ranging from drugs to prostitution. She was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 53-year-old man earlier this month.
She was charged Friday with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
