Police: Death of pregnant woman near Red Hook Houses deemed a homicide

Police have ruled the death of a 27-year-old pregnant woman from Brooklyn a homicide.
On Jan. 29, police responded to a 911 call for an unconscious person in front of 11 Lorraine St. near the Red Hook Houses. Police were told the woman was pushed out of dark-colored Honda between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the location and transported Tatiana Walton to Methodist Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Kelvin Philp, 25, of Shirley, on Long Island, was arrested and charged with murder on Jan. 30.
The investigations remains ongoing.
