A man was killed in a car fire in Red Hook early Saturday, police say.

Officials received a call around 2 a.m. about someone being harassed and of a vehicle on fire. They arrived to the scene at the intersection of Court and Bay Street to find the car.

Firefighters put out the flames and found a person inside the front passenger's seat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say there was possible trauma to the victim's head.

The NYPD says the investigation is ongoing.
