A new co-working space designed for women called "The Wing" has opened in Williamsburg.
It's a co-working space designed to create connections between women. The grand opening was on Valentine's Day.
"We want to really make the everyday life of women who are entrepreneurs, who are scientists, to be super convenient and easy, and most of all, accessible," said general manager Ashley Beudeker.
To do that, the location offers both communal and private co-working spaces. They also have amenities like a pump room, a beauty room, child care services and free coffee.
The Williamsburg location is their second in Brooklyn and the fifth in New York. News 12 is told that they chose Williamsburg based on member feedback.
Members have the option of joining at a single location for $215 a month, or $250 a month to have access to all locations worldwide. Members say this is a small price to pay for the connections and community that they have found.
The Wing is open seven days a week starting Friday, Feb. 14.
