Police: Duo robs man, liquor store 5 minutes apart in Williamsburg

Police in Williamsburg are asking for the public’s help tracking down a pair of violent thieves.
Police say the pair struck twice just five minutes apart on Marcy Avenue Saturday night.
News 12 Brooklyn is told that the two individuals went up to a 31-year-old man at the Marcy Avenue subway station around 7:40 p.m., pulled out a knife and demanded money. Police say the victim gave them $120.
Police say they then went down the street to a liquor store at 309 Roebling St., where they pretended to have a gun and then punched the 25-year-old worker several times in the face before taking $1,000, a driver’s license and liquor.
Police say one of those suspects was wearing a white hooded shirt and the other was wearing a multicolored winter coat.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
