Crews work to repair water main break in Williamsburg

A water main break flooded the streets in Williamsburg Wednesday morning.
Police say calls came in about a water main break just after 4:30 a.m. near North 7 Street and Bedford Avenue.
News 12 is told the water was entering the nearby subway station.
The MTA tweeted out that L train service was suspended between Myrtle Avenue and Union Square for several hours Wednesday, but was restored a short time later.
The MTA tells News 12 the water main break incident was not connected to the L train project.
