Montefiore Children’s Hospital received a special delivery Thursday thanks to Wahlburgers.
In honor of National Nurses Day, the burger chain, owned by Chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, kicked off a series of meal donations being made to first responders in all five boroughs.
Throughout the coming days, the donations will amount to 4,000 lunches and dinners provided by Wahlburgers.
Wahlburgers provided 740 meals to FDNY Battalion 14, NYPD’s 44th Precinct, Mount Sinai-Manhattan and GEMS on Thursday.
The restaurant also plans to deliver 1,355 meals to Brooklyn Saturday, making rounds at FDNY Battalion 48, NYPD’s 94th Precinct, Brooklyn Hospital, Interfaith Hospital and Rising Ground.
