A Bronx family is in mourning Friday as they search for answers in the shooting death of their loved one.
Richard Dominguez, 30, was found dead inside a parked car on Sedgwick Avenue Thursday morning. Police say Dominguez and another unidentified person were found with gunshot wounds to the back of their heads.
Dominguez's sisters, Katie and Gissell, say what happened just doesn't make sense because he had no enemies.
"He was a great son, like my mom is devastated," says Katie Dominguez. "A huge piece of our family is just like gone now."
Dominguez was a father of three. His wife, Cheryl, is now trying to schedule a funeral.
Katie Dominguez says her brother's oldest son, who is 10, hasn't been able to process what has happened. She says the family still doesn't know how to explain it to his younger children.
Police have not yet made any arrests in the case.
