A teenager accused in the death of a Cypress Hills toddler was arraigned on assault charges Monday.
Police say 19-year-old Tyree Wright was watching his girlfriend's 23-month-old Saturday when the boy's mother returned and found her child unconscious.
According to the medical examiner, the toddler died from internal bleeding caused by blunt impact.
Wright is being held without bail.
