Some tenants in Soundview are finally getting much-needed renovations to their building, but say that the improvements are coming at a high price.
According to residents at 1403 and 1405 Rosedale Ave., the landlord is not providing them with alternate living accommodations while the building is gutted over the next six to 12 months.
The Department of Housing and Preservation says the renovations include weeklong periods without water and gas as those pipes are repaired.
News 12 reached out to the building's landlord, Jerry Click, who says the renovations are being financed by the city and that the city should be questioned about relocating the tenants.
