Clothing prices are still sky high these days, but are you willing to try on someone else's gently worn goods? Now some retailers are jumping on the thrifty bandwagon.
If you don’t want to hunt and peck through thrift store racks – Thred Up is online and offers gently used clothing. In addition, you can also sell what’s in your closet.
Thred Up is joining Rent the Runway in a joint venture called “Revive” where you can grab gently used clothes and shoes for as low as $6. The only catch is you have two weeks to return them and you may have to pay $4 per item for shipping.
Saks Off Fifth is also selling pre-owned clothing. You can score a $240 skirt for $24.97. Or, if you are looking for high end designer accessories, you can find some deals on gently used items like scarves and handbags.
Lastly, other sites like Poshmark and Depop allow you to sell more than clothing – unload kids clothes and accessories and maybe even find something to buy!
