Thunderbolt 12 is out on the roads to get look at how today’s major winter storm is affecting the Bronx.
Major roadways in the Bronx are covered in slush, even though plows made their way through the area.
Plows are continuing to focus on the main streets and taking longer to get to the streets with less traffic.
The snow has intensified so even streets that have been plowed are slushy again.
Cars on the side streets have already been completely covered in snow.
Officials say only essential workers should be traveling during the storm, and anyone driving is urged to take it slow.
There is low visibility on the roads, especially on the expressway.
Sidewalks have not been cleared, so pedestrians are urged to be careful while walking.
