Parents, students rally for safety at Parkside Preparatory Academy
9h agoIt was an exciting day for palm tree and daiquiri lovers in Newburgh as a new tiki-themed bar officially opened its doors on Friday.
The Jet Set is located on 50 Front St., right along the waterfront in Newburgh.
Besides a terrific view of the Hudson River, the new eatery also boasts a fun 50's theme with an outside bar and patio serving classic tiki drinks and bar bites with an Asian flare.
This space had previously been closed for three years.
The owners say they are hoping that their unique decor and business model will attract a crowd.
The Jet Set will be open every week from Wednesday to Sunday, starting at 4 p.m.
