A Bronx family who says they struggled without a working toilet for more than a month finally has their bathroom back.

The Figueroas called News 12 The Bronx complaining that they had to use a portable toilet in their living room at the Soundview Houses. They claimed they called 311 and NYCHA several times, but to no avail.

The family says that emergency maintenance crews arrived last night and that their toilet is now working.
