Top chefs from around the world gathered in Greenpoint Sunday to showcase their international cuisine at the StarChefs International Chefs Congress.
The event took place at the Brooklyn Expo.
StarChefs gathered more than 100 of the world's most innovative chefs and mixologists from places like Peru, India and Africa to present the latest techniques and food trends.
The Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Board was the main sponsor of the event.
In 2016, Peru was chosen as the best culinary destination in South America by the World Travel Awards for the fifth year in a row.
