? A Brooklyn man has been arrested for performing veterinary procedures in the borough without a license thanks to some help from an undercover feline.
Authorities used a prosecutor?s adopted kitten in a videotaped sting operation on Steven Vassall. Vassall was arrested last week after he left with the kitten and the money to neuter the animal. Vassall faces charges of unauthorized practice, criminal mischief, attempted petty larceny and others.
A pet owner alerted police to the scam after his dog survived a botched operation.
