The U.S. Postal Service is unveiling a new delivery system to prevent stolen packages.
Called Go Post, the system gives users what is essentially a free P.O. box. Instead of having packages delivered to one's home, one can retrieve items at lockers outside the post office using a PIN card.
Residents say it gives them peace of mind knowing their mail is secure.
There are seven Go Posts in Brooklyn. Almost two dozen people have already signed up for the service at the Brownsville location, which opened Friday.
