About $100,000 worth of damage has been caused by vandals at the historic Greenwood Cemetery in Sunset Park.
Officials say more than 50 tombstones and monuments were knocked over, cracked or broken into pieces at the national landmark early Tuesday morning.
Cemetery President Richard Moyland says many of the headstones date back to the 1800s and cannot be replaced.
The NYPD hate crime unit is investigating.
