Police have released surveillance video of a hooded suspect shooting a 25-year-old man multiple times in Brooklyn.

It happened on Howard Avenue in Bed-Stuy around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the victim was standing outside of a home on Howard Avenue when he was shot.

The video shows a man in a grey-hooded sweatshirt and track pants running up to the man and firing multiple shots. The victim attempted to run away from the shooter, police say. The suspect can be seen running away back to a car after the shooting.

Police say the man was shot in the leg and chest. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
