A group of local volunteers came together over the weekend to help beautify Barnes Avenue.
The group cleared out garbage and weeds around several trees, and laid down fresh soil and mulch.
The event was organized by the Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association, which plans to clean up Wallace and Lydig avenues next.
