The city's Board of Elections is in the process of counting absentee ballots for the state Senate's 27th District.
Republican David Strobin and Democrat Lew Fidler are fighting to fill the seat vacated by Carl Kruger, who pleaded guilty to bribery charges.
Only 120 votes separated the two candidates in preliminary results after voting closed last week.
