A set of broken washer and dryer machines in one Bronxdale housing complex is making tenants upset. A complex that houses mostly senior tenants has been operating without enough washers and dryers for months, residents say. Of the four washing machines in the building, tenants say only one is working. Tenants and their home aides say they have to cross Boston Road to go to a Laundromat in order to get their laundry done. New York City Housing Authority says it is working with the machine's vendor to install more machines at the location.
