WHAT'S NEW: A damp & gloomy few days will be around to kick off this first full work week of October. Expect below average temps, breezy & windy conditions with on and off scattered showers into Wednesday.
WHAT'S NEXT: We dry out and get warmer for the second half of the week, with high pressure moving in. But we're also tracking a cold front to arrive Friday afternoon. It will knock our temps down for the weekend ahead.
TROPICS:
There are two disturbances being monitored by the National Hurricane Center.
In the Central Atlantic, east of the Leeward Islands, there is a disturbance that has a 30% chance of development over the next 5 days. It will move into the Caribbean Sea as it travels westward.
In the East Atlantic, near the Cape Verde Islands, is a disturbance that has a 70% chance of development over the next 5 days. It will move further into the middle of the North Atlantic and not impact anyone.

FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy, breezy and with scattered showers. A few downpours are likely as well. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
TUESDAY: Staying breezy and sometimes turning windy with more sporadic and scattered showers through the day. Highs: mid 50s. Lows: low 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy, still breezy with shower activity slowly fading. Highs: low 60s. Lows: mid 50s.
THURSDAY: *Pick of the week* Mostly sunny, feeing milder and with less wind! Highs: low 70s. Lows: upper 50s.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy & breezy with temps on the mild side, until a cold front arrives in the late afternoon hours. Highs: low 70s. Lows: mid to upper 40s.
THIS WEEKEND: Breezy and cool winds return for Saturday with conditions improving for Sunday. At least we will be dry with low shower chances. Highs: upper 50s to low 60s. Lows: mid to upper 40s.
