As the city works to clean up the mess left by the nor’easter, most public transportation is back operating today.
Above-ground subway service has resumed as of 5 a.m., and the LIRR and Metro-North are back in service.
Vaccination centers run by the city, however, remain closed today.
Appointments will be rescheduled. In-person learning at New York City public schools is also canceled again with remote instruction still going on.
Alternate side parking is suspended through Saturday.
